Carnyces is a dark folk solo project created in 2020 in Glasgow during study at the Riverside Music College. It consists of its founder, Anna McLaughlin and hired session musicians - fellow Riverside students. Musically soaked in traditional song, Carnyces draws its lyrical content from timeless folklore and superstition that transcends into modern times.
